For over a decade, Ryan has been a formidable presence in the International Business Development and Recruitment markets. He began his career as a Corporate Business Trainer back in 2013 before transitioning into the recruitment sector. One of his earliest projects and achievements, was to train the entire Executive Committee Team at Mercedes Benz South Africa (CEO, CIO & CFO), as well as delivering successful business communication workshops for companies such as Anglo American, Zurich Insurance, BASF, Merck Pharmaceuticals, John Deere and the South African Reserve Bank. 🏙️

Ryan’s passion for developing and changing people’s lives then led him into the recruitment sector. He spent 4 successful years at international and world renowned recruitment firms around the world, gaining experience in the South African market and then working and living in Dubai focusing on the Middle East markets. 🗺️

Ryan then joined Robert Walters in 2019 and this is where his career soared to new heights. He quickly established himself as an expert in the African market, and regular Global Top Achiever, having driven the Nigerian and West African specialist desk from essentially a start-up operation to the top performing desk for 2021. He was promoted 4 times in the space of 4 years, having achieved multiple recruitment accolades and set numerous records in the Robert Walters South African office that still stand to this day. 🏆

He is now part of the Executive Leadership Team at Michael Page Africa. His focus is recruiting C-Suite and Executive Level positions across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Having lived and worked in 5 different countries, Ryan has global experience and exposure in a multitude of sectors and markets around the world. 🌍👨‍🎓 With close to 12,000 followers on LinkedIn, Ryan is a regular presence on the platform, and Keynote speaker at industry seminars for African and Global Recruitment.
